Spring Lacrosse Season

Founded on the belief that lacrosse should be accessible, supportive, and fun, Quick Styx offers a positive environment where players of all skill levels can learn, grow, and compete. Our coaches focus on fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship, instilling skills that matter both on and off the field.

Player Eligibility

Players in grades 1-8 during the current season. No experience necessary.
Regardless of if your player is in public or private school, must reside within the boundaries of Ballard, Ingraham or Lincoln High School's attendance area.
SAAS (Seattle Academy) has a middle school program; 7th and 8th grade girls players are required to play for their school and are not eligible to play for Quick Styx
Must have an active USA Lacrosse membership valid through the end of the season

When

Season begins in late February and ends in June. Specific dates depend on the year.

Where

Our home field for most games is the Queen Anne Bowl (QAB)

8U & 10U practice at QAB
12U & 15U practice at Lower Woodland

Practices

14U (7^th and 8^th grade) practice at Lower Woodland 2 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-830 pm (occasionally 715-845 pm).
12U (5^th and 6^th grade) practice at Lower Woodland 2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-830 pm (occasionally 715-845 pm).
10U (3^rd and 4^th grade) and 8U practice at Queen Anne Bowl on Fridays for 60-90 minutes during the 5-7 pm timeframe (timing is at the coach’s discretion).
8U traditionally has started a couple of weeks later (again at the coach’s discretion).

Games

Expect 5-10 games per season, depending on the age level.

Jerseys

Uniforms are provided as part of the fees and are yours to keep.
